Today Nathan's class took a field trip to the post office. The guy giving the tour was showing them this big sorting bin and one of the kids said, "Wow, that's pretty big". Nathan politely raised his hand and when he was called on he asked, "Do you have any others that are more ginormous than that?" All the parents laughed, and he didn't even realize why, I guess he hears me say that word sometimes, so he didn't even realize how funny he sounded.
Also, yesterday he dumped a bunch of books out of his book box and when I asked him why he did it he told me, "Matthew told me to." Mind you Matthew's vocabulary consists of about 15 words, and he doesn't speak in sentences!

I like it. I have always said and still say it today, I could have not picked anyone better to have for a daughter-in-law. I love the way you raise my Grandson's and the way you love my son. You are the true hero in my eyes, a wonderful wife, Mother and don't forget you are a woman. Don't lose sight of yourself, be proud of yourself, and even though stay- at-home Mothers and Wives are often taken for granted, you don't get a "paycheck", you don't get to leave the house every day, you don't get to talk to adults much, no reason to get get dressed somedays, the emotional roller coaster you go through with raising the children can be crazy, there is two things I want you to know. I was a stay at home mom for a little while, going to work was easier, sure, we got a 2nd car, for what? So I could go to work to make the payment. Silly as I look back. I can tell you from personal experience, your rewards for all the good you are doing will not come for a very long time, you must take what you can get now. Your true reward will come when they are gone, I don't mean moving out of the house, I mean when you see them as adults, making the right choices, becoming a vital part of your accomplishments, proving to you that yes, you did help make this person someone to be proud of, you do take credit when they become the person you wanted them to be, a strong man, standing on their own, creating a life of their own, bringing people into your life whom you instantly love, enriching the family foundation for generations to come, so proud of them that the tears well up in your eyes when you think of them, knowing that if you died today, everyone would be just fine, knowing that they will pick their wife over you now and being proud that he would, That is your reward, just like in Heaven, God will be proud and thank you for making the world a better place.
